After the visit of the Jardin Majorelle garden, I visited the Yves Saint Laurent Musée (museum). The outside of the museum is so stunning. The architecture was amazing and so minimal looking. But the structures were so good! From the entrance, walking inside, you could already see the YSL wall. Ab-so-lut-ely stunning!! Just wow! I didn’t have words, I was so living in the moment. I looked at the architecture and the structures, and I fell in love! It was so GORGEOUS! Like, no words honestly.
Luckily there weren’t people when we arrived. (We went on the perfect day and perfect time). And so we had a little photoshoot going on. We took so many pics, it was insane! I’m just laughing at it, when I think of it now. How we tried to get a good shot. Me loving my candids and playing with poses. It was so fun and we basically had such a fun time there.
After that, we went inside. There were exhibitions, a “movie” theatre and more. There was one exhibition where you weren’t allowed to take photos inside. It was pretty dark though. There were mannequins everywhere, clothed in Yves Saint Laurent’s previous collections. And also accessories, and bags. I fell in love, it was absolutely inspiring to see his work. As a fashion person and design graduate, he has always been a inspiration to me. There were some dresses and suits I fell in love with. How the clothing were so stunningly detailed, was mind-blowing. It was so perfect! I’ll add a photo I found on the website.
Here are some of my shots I took at the museum. And peep the shoot photos I took in front of the YSL wall.
