When I booked for Marrakech, the first two things I had on my list to visit in Marrakech, were the Yves Saint Laurent garden Le Jardin Majorelle, and the YSL Museum.
The day arrived, I went with my sister and sister-in-law, and we took the taxi (recommend!), and got dropped off in front of the street. I already saw the street plate, that said “Rue Yves Saint Laurent, 1968 – 2008”. I was so excited! We walked a little, and on the left side of street you could buy tickets for the garden and the museum. I paid 30 Moroccan Dirhams, which was €28,- euros. And it included the Jardin Majorelle, the Berber museum that was inside the garden, and the YSL museum.
The garden was so beautiful, it felt like I was in a jungle. Greenery everywhere, and it was just so stunning. All the cacti and palm trees everywhere. There were these huge palm trees, it was just amazing! It wasn’t as crowded, but there were some people.
I shot at some places, as well as the blue house. It was so amazing to see it in real life. And the fountain was absolutely stunning. I was living in the moment, but it felt like I was dreaming. I let my sister take some “candid” pictures of me. And then we explored the whole garden, as well as the Berber Museum (where we weren’t allowed to take pics) but it was wonderful! I’ll add a photo I found on the website.
Here are some photos of the garden. It was so gorgeous!
